The long winter is over and spring is here. It’s time to start those spring projects. Taylor Rental has all the equipment to get your yard, garden and home in tip top shape.

Let’s start with the yard. Dethatching and Aerating are essential in getting a healthy lawn.

First you will need to remove any debris left in the yard from fall and winter. We have leaf blowers, leaf vac’s, chainsaws and wood chippers to help with this. Now that this is done let’s dethatch. Thatch is a layer of dead grass that sits on top of the soil in your lawn and keeps water, oxygen and nutrients from reaching the roots. Renting a Power Rake/Thatcher will help remove the thatch from the lawn. You will need to rake it up or use a mower with a bag to pick it up.  Once this is done we can aerate. As we use our lawns the soil gets compacted and also keeps the essentials from getting to the roots. A core aerator will remove plugs from the lawn and loosens the soil to let the nutrients get where they belong. For a the thin lawn or the lawn that’s needs to be totally renovated we rent over seeders, sod cutters and roto tillers.

To turn that garden over and get it ready for spring planting we carry several size tillers.

If it a small garden we have 4 and 5 hp front tine tillers. If it’s a large area we have 7 and 9 hp rear tine tillers.

To get the outside of the house clean a pressure washer is the tool of choice. We have a 2000 psi pressure washer which will get the job done.
